About the artist
Tonya Hart received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from York University. Notable solo exhibitions include the Venice Biennale of Architecture (2018); Canadian Sculpture Centre (2009) and Paul Petro Special Projects Space (2010); and group shows in NYC with Portal Art Fair and Governor’s Island (2017). In 2011, the City of Toronto commissioned INFRA, becoming the first of three exhibitions for Nuit Blanche. She has since worked with cities across Canada including four commissions with the National Capital Commission.
