Four exhibitions and installations by six artists explore the role of intuition in the artistic process. Through internal contemplation and intuitive mark-making, Julie Gladstone and Jeff Nye create abstract works that reflect their dual interests in memory and inner space, and the physical act of painting. Ester Pugliese collects images and sounds to use as the foundations for her mixed media works that explore perception and how we experience life. Daria Beer‘s collage work is primarily centered on women, celebrating their strength and beauty, while intertwining the powerful elements of nature. Sara Cristina Gonzalez‘s work, which draws upon memory, the passage of time and light, is as much about meaning as it is about the materials and the act of painting.
